Beautifully Broken

Just like that, I’m back to writing book reviews. This time, I am writing my own book review. Crazy how that works, all this time I’ve been running my own blogging website, just to get the writing skills to write my own book. It’s a full circle, crazy huh? It only took me roughly 6/7 years to finally feel brave enough to write my own book. I remember the day when I attempted to write my first book, and it didn’t go as planned. It was awful! I had no direction on how to write a book. Think about it, can any of you just sit down, come up with an entire book series to write? I mean, maybe a few, or maybe just a couple. How many can raise your hand, and say that I wrote a book? It’s a lot harder than you think. Let’s get to the book review of my very first ever book. Beautifully Broken. Book one of the Beautifully Broken Hearts Series.

Beautifully Broken, is the first book of the series Beautifully Broken Hearts. It’s the story of Rylee Heart, and Noah Blake. The book takes place in Raleigh North Carolina, at North Carolina State University. (The college isn’t real) and that’s why this book is a fiction novel. Rylee Heart, she’s from Troy Ohio. When she gets accepted at her dream school that’s in North Carolina, she has the chance to become a published writer, and to work for the publishing company of her dreams. Then she meets Noah Blake, Noah is captain of the all star hockey team at North Carolina State University. Life for Rylee has never been easy. Coming from a broken home, broken relationships, her entire life has been a rollercoaster. And she loves to be the center of attention when she’s on stage singing karaoke, or in her writing. She never expected to meet Noah. Well officially meet Noah. Noah has been Rylee’s crush since Freshman year, as Rylee has been Noah’s crush. Noah Blake, your typical hockey player. He wants to do great in school, get good grades, and excel in school. He also wants to do great in hockey. He is the captain of the hockey team at North Carolina State University. They are the best team in the entire division. Noah and Rylee never expected to end up with each other.

Okay, so this being the book that I wrote, obviously I’m going to give it a great review, I mean come on. Who wouldn’t want to say great things about their book, especially the person who wrote it? Honestly, it’s a great book, for it being the first book I have ever written in my entire life. So much of Rylee lives in me. And as an author, I can relate to Rylee, and her friends. And as someone else who reads this book, they will be able to relate as well with these characters. Characters that everyone will be their favorites, characters that we won’t be able to get enough of. Two of my friends have read the book before it was published, and they both loved the book. Neither of them could put the book down and wanted to keep reading it to find out what happened in the book. I know how to speak to the readers. I know the feeling of wanting to fall in love with someone great or wanting something great to happen in your life. You only live once. With that being said, I hope everyone checks out my new book that is for sale on https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D77YG3NY

As Always XOXOXO NicoleHeart
